Αυτό το παραδοτέο είναι ένα εγχειρίδιο για οργανισμούς και εκπαιδευτές ενηλίκων που ασχολούνται με την εκμάθηση ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων ενηλίκων. Προορίζεται ως ένας εύκολα προσβάσιμος οδηγός γεμάτος με εργαλεία, στρατηγικές, προσεγγίσεις, καλές πρακτικές και πόρους/πηγές για τη εκμάθηση ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων σε ενήλικες. Είναι επίσης ένα εργαλείο που χρησιμοποιείται για την εξεύρεση πιθανών “κενών” στο έργο κι άλλων στοιχείων που μπορούν να αλλάξουν.
Αυτή η καθοδήγηση έχει δυνατότητες μεταφοράς και μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από αυτούς που ασχολούνται με την εκμάθηση ψηφιακών δεξιοτήτων σε διαφορετικές χώρες, σε εκπαιδευτικούς τομείς και πλαίσια, είτε πρόκειται για επίσημη, μη τυπική ή άτυπη εκπαίδευση. Εκτός από την ίδια την καθοδήγηση, το μοντέλο και η μορφή του εγχειριδίου μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί από άλλους οργανισμούς για να αναπτύξουν τη δική τους καθοδήγηση σ’ ένα ευρύτερο φάσμα του πλαίσιου εκπαίδευσης και κατάρτισης.
